If you have the latest CleanJuice Air for Game Boy Color with the USB solder pad at the top right, you can add this USB-C port in place of the stock DC jack and solder a single wire from the USB-C port to the USB-C pad on the CleanJuice Air to enable not only wireless charging but now USB-C charging too.

You can charge and play at the same time, and the 5V is safely isolated and protected from the rest of the system, only going to the charge circuit to charge the CleanJuice.
