The kit comes with a battery and USB-C add-on board and with a single wire solder it to the CleanJuice board and have USB-C charging from the bottom of your console.

Our Game Boy Color shells are starting to come with the USB-C hole pre-moulded into the shell so you will not have to even make a custom hole for the install.

Designed and tested in the UK by a reputable modder and builder, the RetroSix CleanJuice for GBC is the ultimate upgrade to your console.

If your shell is a RetroSix shell, no need to do anything (except the USB-C hole if not a USB-C shell). If it’s regular shell, your shell will need heavy cutting out of the bottom of the battery compartment where the AA batteries usually go so that its flat. We highly recommend getting one of our new RetroSix shells.
